Since I was a little girl,

 I love using my imagination and I always expressed myself through creativity whether it was art, songwriting or design. For fun, I wrote and illustrated my first book by the time I was six and I even designed my own advertisements and sales papers as a kid. Although I knew I needed to have a career in something that allowed me to be as creative as possible, I had no idea I'd end up in the wedding / event industry until I was getting my feet wet in the public relations field. 

I fell in love,

with event planning when I coordinated my first and very successful fundraiser for a local children's hospital. Eventually I left the public relations field to pursue my passion for event planning. I knew I wanted to be planning events full time and I was most excited to dive into the wedding industry being a true romantic at heart. ​

Ashley Elizabeth Events,

came to fruition while I was still managing a wedding venue. Not only did I have a true love for helping clients plan their special day, I had a passion for the design that could tell a client's story through beautiful and personalized decor. I always wanted to go above and beyond for my clients and being as hands on as possible made my role as a planner even more rewarding. The venue's owner was so supportive of me and after designing luxury tablescapes and transforming the space for open houses and with much encouragement, Ashley Elizabeth Events came to be. ​

January 2019,

After almost seven years at the venue that became like my second home, I made the decision to part ways and focus on my business full time starting January 2019.

BA in Communications,

Through my years in school I was acknowledged and awarded for my skills in art and writing. In college I received a BA in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and Journalism.
